In the fourth quarter of 2022, the top 5 sports apps in South Africa exhibited notable trends in downloads, active users, and revenue, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Betway Scores saw its downloads peaking at around 49K in the week of November 21. Active users also increased steadily, reaching approximately 109K in the same week. However, a slight decline was observed towards the end of December, with downloads dropping to about 17K and active users to around 83K.

South Hollywood Africa experienced a consistent growth in downloads, peaking at approximately 27K in the last week of October. The app maintained a stable download rate through December, ending the quarter with around 14K downloads.
